The Avatar who said, “I have come not to teach but to awaken”

Love's Nazar by Cherie Plumlee

“Don’t Worry, Be Happy”

Some time ago I was suggested to me that I should look into a person called Meher Baba who had lived in India and died or dropped his body in 1969. So I did. I was living in London at the time so it was easy to get hold of a picture and a small book of Meher Baba prayers. Daily, I looked at his picture. I thought he had a big nose, which was an odd thing to think, but I mentally told him that. I said the prayers to try and make a connection. I felt a calmness after saying the prayers.

I found out there was a Meher Baba centre in west London, so a few weeks later I visited. It was in the basement of an ordinary looking house not far from Hammersmith. There were several people present who were friendly and warm. Not in the slightest were they pushy. just content and happy. I told them I had found out about Meher Baba from a friend, and they suggested we watched a video (a lot of these are available online and on Youtube now).

The video started up and there was Meher Baba looking out at us. A rush of emotion flooded over me as I looked in his eyes. My heart melted and expanded. The old was washed away. Tears of joy ran down my face. Here was what I had always been looking for all my life, but I hadn’t known I was looking. In an instant my life and my outlook on life was massively changed. I was looking at the purpose of my life, at my Everything. I could feel a very, very deep connection with Meher Baba, the thief of hearts who had in less than a blink of the eye, stolen my heart.

This was my reaction. I can’t say other people would react like that. Meher Baba though, had once communicated that he was for everyone, but that not everyone was for him. So while he did his Universal work for everyone (and everything in Creation) he didn’t expect everyone to acknowledge what he was doing or have a connection with him. Some people would feel a connection, while others wouldn’t.

Who was Meher Baba?

Meher Baba was born on 24 February 1894 in a Jewish hospital and given the name Merwan Sheriar Irani by his Zoarastrian parents. he went to a Christian school. He had a normal life up until he was 19. Then, he was called by Hazrat Babajan. She was very old and lived under a neem tree in Pune. She was one of the five Perfect Masters of that time. She kissed Merwan on the forehead and triggered his latent God-consciousness which poured in. Not eating or sleeping, and repeatedly banging his head with the intensity of the effort, he integrated his God-consciousness with his normal everyday personality consciousness.

He journeyed to meet the other four Perfect Masters. Meeting each one, he internally lived each of their experiences and absorbed their role.  The fifth Perfect Master, Upasni Maharaj, upon seeing Merwan, threw a stone which hit Merwan in the forehead, drawing blood. This had the effect of bringing his consciousness down to earth. Merwan stayed with Upasni while he further became grounded and absorbed the God-consciousness.

It is well documented how Merwan became to be known as Meher Baba (meaning compassionate father).  There are also accounts of his Universal work which was extraordinary, and a universe apart to what people consider to be lightwork today. As part of his work he travelled, including to Europe and the USA, and people took it upon themselves to record and film these for people in the future.

Meher Baba communicated that he had been the Avatar in different times, Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Jesus and Mohammed, and others going back in time, each time returning to do His Universal work for the whole of Creation. He also had some minor incarnations. The Avatar incarnates between every 400 to 700 years, each time with a different name and personality. The Avatar usually incarnates in India because the ground energy is very high and supports spiritual work, as anyone who has been to India for spiritual reasons will notice.

In his work, he made all the key major decisions for the next three thousand years and set out the timelines for the next twelve hundred years for Creation. What we are experiencing now is a direct result of this work. Meher Baba dropped his body in 1969. The period of 100 years after this, up until 2069 is considered as a time when his energy is very present and is called an Avataric Period. The energy on this planet and in Creation before he was born was 75% dark and 25% light. Before 2069 this has to change over to 25% dark and 75% light. That is a big change, and we are right in it! Then there is more change to come as the old karma is worked out and old spirit replaced and new law replaces old law. How the world will change. Real spirituality is very revolutionary in all senses of the word.

I had a taste of the Avataric energy. The Meher Baba followers or lovers, as they called themselves after the romantic Sufi spiritual poetry (read Rumi and Hafiz to see what I mean), would occasionally hold meetings and events. After some of these, we would say some of the prayers Meher Baba had written. Then we stood silent. In would come an incredibly powerful, deep and dynamic silence that was full of love. It was like the doors of Eternity being opened onto the Infinite. This Silence and Stillness would flow out and around us, and out beyond us. Then the silence gradually became like normal silence. The first time this happened was a great shock as it was unlike anything I had experienced before.

There were / are some books I have found really useful that were written by Meher Baba. The energy of them is truly phenomenal, and if anyone is drawn to reading them I would recommend it. A key book is God Speaks. This is about God and a spiritual description of Creation and it’s purpose. It helps the reader know who and what they are. Another profoundly useful book is Discourses, which is a guide to understand life and how it can be lived. It’s topics include violence versus non-violence, meditation, and relationships amongst others. There are other books that are also worth looking at.

Masters; how to tell a real one

When we get interested in spirituality, when we wake up to it, we sometimes want direction and some teaching, or more waking up (which is possible). We want a spiritual teacher or a Master.

There are different kinds of masters or Masters. To get a feel for this topic it helps to know about the planes of consciousness in Creation and a soul’s place in all this, so here is a brief explanation.

Souls come down from the Divine, from what we can call God, into Creation. Most souls when they come down up until now were a bit sleepy or asleep, with the potential for infinite consciousness. They are not aware of what’s going on in that place called Creation. The souls after a while drop down to the bottom-most part of Creation, which is the bottom of the zeroth (0th) plane of consciousness. The light on the zeroth plane is dark and slow, and consciousness is extremely limited, literally zero at the bottom of the zeroth plane. The soul has gone from infinite consciousness to zero consciousness.

There are other planes of consciousness. The first plane, where the light is a bit brighter and a bit quicker than on the zeroth plane. Then the second plane where the light is brighter still and even quicker and so consciousness is more expanded. Then there are the third plane, the fourth plane, the fifth plane, and the sixth plane where the light is very bright and intense white light, and where consciousness of the soul is very expanded. Then there is the huge gap in consciousness to the Divine Journeys which are part of God.

Souls start off at the bottom of the zeroth plane in the mineral kingdom with virtually no consciousness. Then lifetime after lifetime they reincarnate back into mineral form and each time there is a minute increment in consciousness. Eventually still in the zeroth plane, the soul incarnates into a lifeform that is in the plant kingdom with a slightly higher level of consciousness for the soul to gain experience of life there. After many lifetimes in the plant kingdom, gaining consciousness and experience, and still in the zeroth plane, the soul incarnates as an animal in the animal kingdom. The soul dies and is born again and again in the reincarnatory process, each time having a lifeform with a minutely higher degree of consciousness. Eventually the soul takes a sub-human form, and then, still in the zeroth plane, the soul takes a human form.

The soul has a consciousness that is still limited. This consciousness minutely increases lifetime after lifetime until the soul goes up to the bottom of the first plane of consciousness. This level of consciousness is greater than the zeroth plane and less than the consciousness higher up the first plane, and less than the consciousness on the second plane and so on. Eventually, eventually, the soul reincarnates and increases its experience of Life and consciousness, all the way up to the top of the sixth plane. Here, the soul’s consciousness is very expanded, and it’s a place where karma can be easily balanced, prior to God realisationship, with the soul going onto the Divine Journeys.

A person whose soul is on the sixth plane will have a far greater degree of consciousness than a soul on the zeroth or the first or the second plane for instance (and the third, fourth and fifth planes). People with sixth plane souls (and fifth plane souls) are very unlikely to say they are enlightened, have special powers or authority etc because they have experienced enough of Life to realise there is so much more to learn, and they appreciate the absolutely massive gulf between where they are now and the consciousness and other qualities that are there for God-realised souls on the Divine Journeys.

Usually for souls it is one way traffic from the zeroth plane to the sixth plane. However, if someone abuses the enormous power they have available to them on the fourth plane they can get dropped down to lower down the fourth plane, or lower, including right back down to the bottom of the zeroth plane, back to a mineral life again! These days people on higher planes can also be dropped. The Avatar had dropped one soul down from the sixth plane to the second so they would have millions of more lives of experience to make them more useful to the Avatar when they met again (this happen to a person called Eruch who served Meher Baba). Having more experience of life than the normal can also be useful for spiritual teachers or Perfect Masters because they understand more about Life, which makes them more effective and helpful to other souls.

The main Master is the Avatar who comes down to earth every 400 to 700 years in major and in minor incarnations ( Krishna, Ram, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed- though said he was only a prophet, and Meher Baba who dropped his body in 1969). Many of the incarnations are ones where they keep a low profile. Even in the major incarnations they will only gather around them a small number of followers to do the work, even though they may make contact or be seen by large numbers of people as they do their work. The Avataric work involves altering the timelines of creation and humanity to get them back on track, and for the spiritual advancement of all souls in creation. There are plenty of accounts available online of people meeting Meher Baba if you want to find out how people felt or  what they experienced when they met him. He said he had come to awaken people and not teach as we had been given plenty of words already. He would communicate to people, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”. This time around, he made all the major decisions for the next three thousand years, and altered the timelines in his universal work. There are accounts of his work in a series of books called “Lord Meher” and these can be read free online. He worked with ordinary people, in the East and the West, he worked with Masts (God intoxicated people who care only for God and who are like spiritual generators), and undertook other types of spiritual work. The work around the time of the Second World War is quite illuminating.

To help the Avatar when they are not on earth, there have always been five Perfect Masters. These hold the qualities of Bliss, Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth and Power. Whereas the Avatar has access to all the Divine Journeys in their system, the Perfect Masters used to have access to the first, second and third Divine Journeys. As these are infinitely big, that is a lot of energy they can work with to bring into Creation to make changes. The Perfect Masters have infinite consciousness, are aware of creation as Illusion as they are aware of Reality. They are at the centre of creation and of each being in creation. Every moment they are doing universal work.

There are 51 other people on this planet who are God-realized, whose consciousness is on the lower Divine Journeys. Some of these can have a role like a saint or a Master, and they have access to Divine Journey energy and light. An example of this is Mother Meera in Germany, who brings through the Paramatman Light. God-realized people have access to Divine guides who help them in their work, especially the Perfect Masters. Archangels are sixth plane and angels are fifth plane, and the Perfect Masters as aspects of God, being on the Divine Journeys, direct the Archangels and angels, as they have the authority as an earned right. Also, importantly, being infinite, they can handle the full mental energy of the Archangels and angels.

There is a gigantic gap in consciousness between the Divine Journeys and the planes of consciousness in creation. What we call masters on the sixth, fifth, fourth planes and so on, only have access to the energy and light (mental or astral) on their plane or lower.

Some energies and abilities on some planes can look spectacular. For instance, the energy on the third plane can be used by saints on the third plane or higher to perform what would be called minor miracles, such as creating perfume as they rub their fingers together, or getting ash to grow out of statues. This is energy, not spirituality, which is about a person’s connection with God. When someone has that connection, miracles like that are meaningless.

There is a way a person can have higher plane energy flowing through them. A person in everyday life, or someone who has a saint or a master role, can be overshadowed by a Perfect Master, who can flow energy through and get work done depending on the strength of the person’s energy system. Perfect Masters will also work through their agents who are placed on different planes, though they won’t necessarily seem like masters, and in fact may look very ordinary, so the work gets done without any fuss or glamour.

A person may also be overshadowed by a being on the inner planes and bring through teachings and energy. So someone on the second plane could be overshadowed on the inner planes by another person on the fifth plane. Or they could be overshadowed by a guide on the inner planes who passes through energy and information. Though the energy and information from a fifth plane or sixth plane being won’t be of the same standard as from a Perfect Master. Someone on the zeroth, or first or second plane might think it is great, and they could still get some energy or healing from it because it is from a higher plane and will speed up their karma a bit. But if a person has been around a God-realized being, or a Perfect Master, or if they are old enough to have been around the Avatar, they would know there is a Universe of difference between the energy and teaching of someone on the Divine Journeys, and someone on the planes of consciousness. Still, got to start somewhere, and someone carrying out the master role might in many lifetimes end up being a Perfect Master.

The whole thing about finding a master or spiritual teacher is a tricky business. People who want spiritual direction and who want a teacher are putting their trust in someone they don’t know, and as learners, they are likely not to be able to know what to look for in a teacher. Some teachers are good and loving, with good intentions. Some teachers are in it for motives other than being loving and compassionate to the people who have put their faith in them. It might be for power, for money, for control, for sex, or to boost their own ego. Or the person could be overshadowed by a being or entity on the inner planes who sounds plausible, but is actually twisted and bringing through energy that damages or ensnares and controls. (I experienced this with some people pretending to teach about angels. I wrote about it on my blog. I did get out of the situation when I realized I was feeling wrong.)

In life we connect up with people, including potential spiritual teachers and masters because of karma. We will have met them before in some context in one or more previous lives. Our karma is there to give us experience, and sometimes we need the lesson that being with someone gives us, until we have learned the lesson and no longer require the connection.

In life, knowing how to discern what is right or good for us really helps. Some people have a gut instinct and follow it. Some people have a good intuition, or a very helpful guide, or they have an open third eye and can look at the energy of potential situations and their timelines to help them make good choices. If a person is vulnerable, it is easy for them to be pushed into something unsafe, though. The easiest trick in the world is to make them feel special and loved, but ensnare them.

There is a lot of choice out there. People can make a karmic connection, and still check out the other person, the potential teacher or master. Here is a way. Imagine going through their energy to their heart centre. Imagine how it feels, looks, smells like and sounds like. If all seems good, then wonderful. Let that help you make a choice.

How many chakras do you have? (updated)

(I updated and added new material after a request for information about chakras.)

The view of most people interested in chakras or centres is that there are seven main ones. If you look at diagrams on the Internet you will usually view a person seated in a lotus position with seven coloured or patterned circles representing their chakras.

Was this always the case? Will it always be this way?

Chakras or centres help us interact with the energies of the world and Universe around us, and spiritual energies that come in that can continually change us. For example, the heart centre is the one the soul forms first, and it can receive and send out love, as well as receive and host some divinely inspired energies. The third eye (which is opening for everyone so we can all be clairvoyant – which is a bit of a mixed blessing as we get to see the unpleasant stuff as well as the lovely) helps us to interact with information from our universe. The base centre, which is so essential for literally rooting us into the earth, and providing the solid grounding needed for spiritual life. The sexual centre is about creativity and mostly procreation, and ownership (why there is possessivenous as in having a possession when someone has a sexual partner). The throat centre is about expression and communication. The crown centre at the top of the head in the seven chakra system is about spirituality and having spiritual energy and information. The solar plexus is concerned with emotions and is linked to thinking. It is also the body’s brain (while the personality mind is in the head). It is involved in sending out emotional energy and receiving it. The lower three centres, the base, the sexual centre and the solar plexus, are the ones most easily targetted with negative energy as they are the oldest. There are other centres.

Centres are important to focus on in meditation, as keeping them functioning and in a pristine state are essential to spiritual development and so how we express ourselves in life.

In people, the centres are large or small depending on how active they are, and are bright or dark depending on what the people think or get up to. People who use tinder or grindr for example, can develop quite black sexual centres which shows the energy that is building up in their sexual centre. This is linked to a build up of timelines in the sexual centre and the colour of the centre reflects the type of karma that is being built up that will need to be balanced in future lives.

I should put up a meditation to check out the colour of a person’s heart centre which gives a good reflection on their character. You can then check out people you come across, and it’s educational to take a look at the people on the TV. Once I found myself in a conference of people involved in the arms trade (long story, that). There were more than a few black hearts and some bats wings which indicated dark lodge status. They were an interesting mob.

A lot of the new children coming in have very bright centres, as they land on this earth to bring about some required changes.

The number of centres we require changes as time in Creation goes on. This is due to the process that creation is going through, and because the frequency and the types of energy we need to assimilate change.

There have been five root races of humanity going back into the dim and distant past. The first one was the Adamic root race, which was essentially etheric (plus astral) rather than physical, with a base centre and a sexual centre. Next came the Hypoborean, which would have had an additional solar plexus centre. Then came the Lemurian root race, then the Atlantean root race. Not sure how many centres they had but I think the Lemurian could be telepathic, so that means they would have the heart centre, the throat centre, and the third eye at least. Possibly not the crown centre at the top of the head, because the Atlanteans showed they weren’t very good at spiritual direction, in that they got it wrong and ended up being wiped out in what is biblically called the Great Flood. (There are also sub-root races that incarnate usually to get specific things to happen in various parts of the world.) After the Atlanteans  the root race which then came in was the Aryan root race, named after a group of people that developed in northern India. This root race had the full seven major chakras that can been seen depicted in old pictures of chakras. Meditation techniques developed in Buddhism and the spiritual practices in India were well suited to this kind of chakra system.

This fifth root race, the Aryan root race is coming to an end. There is an energetic push to bring this to completion. This means fragmentation in societies, both global and national, upheaval, uncertainty as things break up and timelines suddenly seem to dissipate and end, emotional upheaval. What is coming in is the sixth root race, and new timelines are starting with new energy. Sixth root race people have one hundred chakras or centres, whether they are aware of them or not. This means they can take in and receive as well as give out a bigger range of energy than the Aryan root race humans. They can process energy and emotions and thought in new ways, and handle more spiritual energies. The sixth root race is the next step in humanity. To put it into perspective though, there will be, in the distant future, a seventh root race, and further into the future, an eight root race, and so on, Each root race will be able to handle more spiritual energy than the root race before and will have even more chakras or centres, and they will most likely call them something different by then, and may not even have to have a physical, sound based language, but might be telepathic. Humanity will evolve energetically, and in how their body looks.

How do chakras or centres appear or come about? The change makers in the world, and in creation are the five Perfect Masters, and these beings are responsible for making changes, following the plans of the Avatar who incarnates every 400 to 700 years in major and minor incarnations.

Doing the meditations presented on the blog, the gold, white and blue light ones for example, will open up your new centres. Have fun.

Angels and Perfect Masters

When a soul with a lot of order energy comes down from the Divine Journeys in the Beyond, rather than take a route that eventually leads to human lives, or a route that leads to lives in the Devic kingdom, they become an angel.

Their journey is closely watched by the five Perfect Masters who live on Earth and look after creation for God. If the soul comes into creation with a lot of order energy they become an Archangel on the 6th plane of consciousness. If they have a little less order energy they become an angel on the 5th plane of consciousness.

The Archangels and angels are order energy, given a little touch of chaos energy, which helps them work together with Devas when required. Archangels and angels do God’s Will, quickly and thoroughly, without emotion, as they are mental light. Mental light is not like slushy or soft love, it is very effective at creating thorough  healing and change.

The Perfect Masters, who work on the first three Divine Journeys and who have God’s authority down here in creation, direct the work of the Archangels and angels.

Angelic energy is very pure, and powerful order energy. The current human form in this 5th, Aryan Root Race is too fragile to cope with this energy, so full on exposure to angelic energy doesn’t happen. A touch, yes.

Archangels and angels cannot be commanded by humans. They only follow instructions from God, the Avatar when they are down here, and the Perfect Masters.

For information on the planes of consciousness take a look at  https://wordpress.com/post/spiritualgrowthadventure.com/20 , and other articles about Perfect Masters and Devas.

A Promise, A Rose, A Meditation

There is a part of spiritual knowledge that has not been to the forefront in Western cultures. Though it is quite far-reaching.

Every seven hundred to one thousand four hundred years God descends into creation and takes human form, to fulfil a role as the Avatar. The Avatar puts the various parts of creation back on track, rather like making course adjustments, and gives creation a direction and a spiritual push. God also comes down in minor incarnations every three hundred to four hundred years as well.

Avatar incarnations have included Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Mohammed, Jesus and Meher Baba. The first incarnation was as Ganesha, when creation first came into existence, then there were others in distant prehistory. There have been other incarnations where the work was away from humans, who are the pinnacle of spiritual development in creation, and a stepping stone to God-realization.

When the Avatar is not physically in creation, or during a minor incarnation, there have been five God-realized people who have taken up the mantle or job role of being a Perfect Master. At any one time there are five Perfect Masters in charge of creation. When creation has “wobbled” in the past, they have called in the Avatar.

The Avatar often has followers who help in the spiritual work, and the Avatar might give out teachings. As there is a great deal of energy behind these teachings a long timeline can be formed and a religion gets created by people who then become involved. Meher Baba came to awaken, not teach. As the Avatar’s energy is still around for one hundred years after they drop their body, Meher Baba’s energy is still around until 2069.

All of this is quite different to the information in circulation in Western spirituality.

Meher Baba was born in India and had Iranian ancestry. One of his favourite poets was Hafiz who was also a Perfect Master in the 1300s. He wrote poetry about love and spirituality. His work is known in the West and is still cherished in Iran. His language was that of a Sufi mystic. His poems are very beautiful and full of wisdom. In some of the poems he refers to vagabonds, larks, wine, lovers and the beloved. Such words are used as metaphors, and the poems are romantic in a spiritual way, to bring the deep feeling that someone in love with God can have.

Iran used to be famous for its rose gardens. In keeping with the romance of the Sufi poetry, a rose can be considered from a spiritual point of view. It is an everyday object, which can hold a lot of meaning.

This is a useful way to think about how the Avatar and Perfect Masters work. They will use everyday objects and events and pack them full of meaning and energy. In this way they get maximum spiritual work done.

You know what you can see. So if a person sees the Avatar (in this case Meher Baba as there is plenty of film footage) giving out parcels of food, money and clothing to a queue of people, they might think that is all that is happening. For a spiritual leader this is a common way of behaving in India.

But there are many possible levels to what might happening.

A person receiving gifts from the Avatar will be connected in to a soul family. They will also be corded into family, friends, enemies perhaps, and people they have met and are going to meet down their timeline. So even all of these people will be affected in precise ways with regards to their karma and their material well-being.

The energy and healing can go down all of their timelines for lifetimes to come, even if they incarnate in different parts of creation, other than this earth.

Also, the physical gifts will be a vehicle for spiritual energy to give the recipient a spiritual push down through their timeline. Again, the spiritual gifts can be given as well to all those souls that the person standing there represents. The physical gifts will carry a spiritual charge.

Also, in those brief seconds the person spends receiving the physical irradiation of the Avatar, they can be transformed on physical, etheric, astral and mental levels. Their karma can be changed, their timeline altered, and their soul can be worked on.

So a seemingly simple physical act can be so, so much more.

A rose then.

The Avatar was present at the beginning of creation (God’s outbreath), and the Avatar will be present at the end of creation (God’s inbreath), when “all the children come home”. It’s the Avatar’s job to look after all the souls in creation, and bring them all back home. The Avatar loves creation infinitely. Which means they love each soul infinitely. The Avatar has made a promise to you, me, everyone, and every soul, to bring us all back home. (All souls came from God, from the Divine Journeys where we were in Divinity. Dropping down into creation we literally forgot this and what we really are. We are on a journey to going back and fully remembering.)

The rose in this meditation is the Avatar’s promise. For now until the end of creation.

Read the below before trying.

Sit in a comfortable, upright position which makes it easier to focus on energy flowing down and up the centres.

A beautiful white rose forms high above your head. It is a brilliant white, and feels very peaceful. It has around it a quality of stillness and of silence. The rose has many petals. This rose holds within it the energy of Avataric promise.

The white rose enters through the top of your head, and goes into the topmost centre in the top of your head.
It irradiates out light that clears the centre. Unneeded timelines are removed, and a new timeline is placed in the centre. The required dose of love and light is irradiated into the centre, making changes.

When enough changes have been made, the white, Avataric rose drops down into the next centre.

Again, unneeded timelines are removed and energy is cleared. New energy washes into the centre, to create a healing on many levels, and a stronger timeline is placed in the centre.

When changes have been made, the white, Avataric rose drops down to the next centre, where a similar process occurs.

This process is repeated, all the way down through the body, including in the bottom most centre, the base centre. This centre is cleared and old and unneeded timelines and energy are flushed out. The white, Avataric rose irradiates out its light, to deeply change the energy and structure of the base centre. The base centre becomes larger, more responsive, with a finer structure. There is more of a smoother feel to the base centre, and a sense of a more solid and light-filled timeline appears.

The Avataric white rose may rise back up the centres to bring more energy into the centres, and then drop down to the base, and it may do this repeatedly, or it may remain in the base centre, to wait there for future use.

The result of this meditation is a set of centres aligned to the Avataric plan, and the right timelines in your centres. There may be more of a sense of calmness and purpose throughout your being.

In your heart centre, you may notice a feeling of peace, calm and love, and perhaps a sense of harmony.

Open your eyes.

This meditation is quite a profound one. It can be repeated, particularly when someone feels a little lost. It will help to put them on the right path.

Right now there are a lot more centres than just 7.

Have fun.

Religion, spirituality and meditation

If you draw several timelines covering five thousand years or so, one each for each region of the world, and then map onto them when religions started up, when they were popular, and when they declined, some details become noticeable.

First off, religions start off very small. Initially, there would be a strong spiritual basis, sparked by one person, who provides the Divine love, the energy and any teachings. Matters are kept very simple.

When that person dies or drops their body, that is when others set themselves up above others as the holders of the true message or faith. This when ceremonies are created, ceremonial dress is given importance, and those who set themselves up as priests and priestesses produce their own additions and interpretations to any initial message. They “lead” the followers and often give out rules for living. They become the middlemen that followers have to go through, and the followers no longer have to think for themselves. A religion has been created.

People like ceremonies and routine as it helps them feel safe and comfortable. They are easy to do, and a participant doesn’t have to think to hard. Plus there is a sense of involvement and of being part of something and belonging.

So a group goes from being a small group of people who will have had to change their lives to be part of something new, something that seems radical to the old way, and which will probably be seen as a challenge to that old way. The group members will be made to break habits, to think, to love more, and face challenges.

In fairness, while a religion is active, it is living off the  energy provided by the initial progenitor, who is usually an Avatar or Perfect Master, and the energy they provide can last for thousands of years. This means that a person with a spiritual disposition can still make spiritual headway even amidst the ceremonies and trappings, and any dark twists that get added by negative individuals.

The point at the beginning of a religion is spirituality, of increasing the connection with the Divine and soaking up that Divine energy to create growth spiritually in that lifetime and future lifetimes.

I’ve blogged before about dropsouls, about how these are Divine, on the Divine Journeys, and yet unconscious. These come down into the very bottom of creation, develop and move up the planes of consciousness, to become God Realized, and this time, conscious of their Divinity.

These dropsouls are us, and all our younger brothers and sisters in creation. It is Divine energy that gives us a push up (and right thoughts, feelings, decisions and actions).

The last Avatar said he had come to awaken, not teach. That means an opening of the heart, amongst other things, and a direct connection. It makes life a fresh, vital experience, rather than following old, historic rules. Essentially it’s about learning about God by living the life in front of you, rather than looking back in time for rules to feel safe in.

A person doesn’t need middlemen, just the direct connection with the Divine. That and willingness, putting out a request to the Divine, then receiving the input and energy.

Meditation could be a way to do this.
