Silence is more than golden

Someone once stated, “Things that are Real are given and received in Silence.” (It was the same person  who expressed, rather than said as they were silent from 1925 to 1969, ” Don’t worry; be happy”.)

In meditation, it is wonderful to have silence, or possibly Silence, and then it becomes possible to receive the full benefits of meditation.

There are different kinds of silence. There is just being quiet. There is the silence of being in a room in the city. There can be a silence that belongs to the dusk, and the silence that belongs to the dawn, and to the middle of the night. If you have been in the desert, you know the silence there. I was recently in a cave 80 metres below ground. There was a silence, and time felt slower to being above ground. Being in a sound insulated room has a muffled silence, where silence means an absence of noise.

From a spiritual point of view, our 3-D reality (or our multiple dimensional reality), is made up of the physical, astral and the mental levels, so there is not just physical silence, but a much deeper silence. I felt an extremely deep Silence when I visited a room which Meher Baba stayed in. One night, having spoken until that point in his life, he went into the room. The next day he came out of that room and was silent for the rest of his life. The Silence in that room was tangible, and so intense, being Avataric, it gave me a headache. It takes some building up to that level of Silence.

With that kind of Silence, not only do sounds fade, but it becomes a non-emotional moment where feelings are calmed deeply. Mentally, the personality mind goes totally quiet (as does the body-mind), and there feels to be a flow of Silence going around and through.  It feels infinitely big and deep. It wraps around every cell of your body. You relax, let go, go silent, and enjoy the Silence and the energy flow, as it feels like the infinite flowing through. What is Real is given. It is effortless and just happens. There is a spirit of Silence that can be called in.

In meditation, instead of trying to make your mind quiet, just call in the spirit of Silence. This is quite moreish, so having enough will to come back completely, with all aspects of yourself, fully into your body is important.

Try this:
Sit in a quiet, comfortable place. Remember to put down roots out of your feet and spine into the ground. Let the roots be any colour that seems to feel right. This planet has provided your physical body with nutrients, you live in its atmosphere, and within its magnetic and gravitational fields. It is home to you, and you have a deep connection to it. This planet is having an upgrade, and it can interact with you, providing you with energy through your roots, into all your organs, bones, and muscles, and so on.

Once rooted in, now just relax. Ask for, and claim your Silence. Let it wrap around you, like a golden-white weave. Let the light that comes with that Silence flow in. Open to the Silence and the Light.

Silence has its own timing, so that when the energy has completed what needs to be done at that time, the Silence and the feelings that go with it will lift.

After the Silence has lifted, make sure to have good awareness of your body, of your fingers and toes, and your face. Open your eyes.

In one of the early articles on this blog, there are details of how to button up your energy, and the positive energy you have built up.

If you think of Meher Baba as you do this meditation, you can get a taste of Avataric silence, which is quite something.

If you want good quality information about Meher Baba on the internet, as there has been a proliferation of websites, wikis and blogs that are not as accurate, the original websites are http://www.avatarmeherbaba.org , http://www.ambppct.org, http://www.mehercenter.org . Wiki describes Meher Baba as being influenced by some such as Upasni Maharaj. As if having a stone thrown at Meher Baba’s forehead qualifies as being “influenced by”. It did bring his consciousness back down to the gross level, though. And Upasni was really something else; very special.

A Promise, A Rose, A Meditation

There is a part of spiritual knowledge that has not been to the forefront in Western cultures. Though it is quite far-reaching.

Every seven hundred to one thousand four hundred years God descends into creation and takes human form, to fulfil a role as the Avatar. The Avatar puts the various parts of creation back on track, rather like making course adjustments, and gives creation a direction and a spiritual push. God also comes down in minor incarnations every three hundred to four hundred years as well.

Avatar incarnations have included Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Mohammed, Jesus and Meher Baba. The first incarnation was as Ganesha, when creation first came into existence, then there were others in distant prehistory. There have been other incarnations where the work was away from humans, who are the pinnacle of spiritual development in creation, and a stepping stone to God-realization.

When the Avatar is not physically in creation, or during a minor incarnation, there have been five God-realized people who have taken up the mantle or job role of being a Perfect Master. At any one time there are five Perfect Masters in charge of creation. When creation has “wobbled” in the past, they have called in the Avatar.

The Avatar often has followers who help in the spiritual work, and the Avatar might give out teachings. As there is a great deal of energy behind these teachings a long timeline can be formed and a religion gets created by people who then become involved. Meher Baba came to awaken, not teach. As the Avatar’s energy is still around for one hundred years after they drop their body, Meher Baba’s energy is still around until 2069.

All of this is quite different to the information in circulation in Western spirituality.

Meher Baba was born in India and had Iranian ancestry. One of his favourite poets was Hafiz who was also a Perfect Master in the 1300s. He wrote poetry about love and spirituality. His work is known in the West and is still cherished in Iran. His language was that of a Sufi mystic. His poems are very beautiful and full of wisdom. In some of the poems he refers to vagabonds, larks, wine, lovers and the beloved. Such words are used as metaphors, and the poems are romantic in a spiritual way, to bring the deep feeling that someone in love with God can have.

Iran used to be famous for its rose gardens. In keeping with the romance of the Sufi poetry, a rose can be considered from a spiritual point of view. It is an everyday object, which can hold a lot of meaning.

This is a useful way to think about how the Avatar and Perfect Masters work. They will use everyday objects and events and pack them full of meaning and energy. In this way they get maximum spiritual work done.

You know what you can see. So if a person sees the Avatar (in this case Meher Baba as there is plenty of film footage) giving out parcels of food, money and clothing to a queue of people, they might think that is all that is happening. For a spiritual leader this is a common way of behaving in India.

But there are many possible levels to what might happening.

A person receiving gifts from the Avatar will be connected in to a soul family. They will also be corded into family, friends, enemies perhaps, and people they have met and are going to meet down their timeline. So even all of these people will be affected in precise ways with regards to their karma and their material well-being.

The energy and healing can go down all of their timelines for lifetimes to come, even if they incarnate in different parts of creation, other than this earth.

Also, the physical gifts will be a vehicle for spiritual energy to give the recipient a spiritual push down through their timeline. Again, the spiritual gifts can be given as well to all those souls that the person standing there represents. The physical gifts will carry a spiritual charge.

Also, in those brief seconds the person spends receiving the physical irradiation of the Avatar, they can be transformed on physical, etheric, astral and mental levels. Their karma can be changed, their timeline altered, and their soul can be worked on.

So a seemingly simple physical act can be so, so much more.

A rose then.

The Avatar was present at the beginning of creation (God’s outbreath), and the Avatar will be present at the end of creation (God’s inbreath), when “all the children come home”. It’s the Avatar’s job to look after all the souls in creation, and bring them all back home. The Avatar loves creation infinitely. Which means they love each soul infinitely. The Avatar has made a promise to you, me, everyone, and every soul, to bring us all back home. (All souls came from God, from the Divine Journeys where we were in Divinity. Dropping down into creation we literally forgot this and what we really are. We are on a journey of experiencing, learning and understanding, to wake up and to go back.)

The rose in this meditation is the Avatar’s promise. For now until the end of creation.

Read the below before trying.

Sit in a comfortable, upright position which makes it easier to focus on energy flowing down and up the centres.

A beautiful white rose forms high above your head. It is a brilliant white, and feels very peaceful. It has around it a quality of stillness and of silence. The rose has many petals. This rose high above your head, holds within it the energy of Avataric promise.

The white rose descends and enters through the top of your head, and goes into the topmost centre in the top of your head. This can be called the crown centre.

The white rose irradiates out light that clears the centre. Unneeded energies are removed, and a new energy is placed in the centre. The required amount of love and light is irradiated into the centre, making healing changes.

When enough changes have been made, the white, Avataric rose drops down into the next centre, the third eye.

Again, unneeded energies are removed and cleared. New energy washes into the centre, to create a healing on many levels, and this enhances your timeline.

When changes have been made, the white, Avataric rose drops down to the next centre, the throat centre, where a similar process occurs. White light from each rose petal is irradiated into the throat centre. This light finds and dissolves old energy that is no longer required, giving the throat centre a clearing, so it can hold and radiate light.

This process is repeated, all the way down through the body. The next well-known centre is the heart centre.

Roses can have a fragrance, think of this soft white light Divine rose as having a Divine fragrance. The white rose enters through the top of the heart centre. As the white rose radiates out a soft white light, it also radiates out its Divine fragrance, which touches the heart centre in a different way. This soft white light and fragrance heals the heart, and dissolves old energies. The white light and fragrance fills the heart centre, so this centre can radiate out white light to the world.

The white rose then descends down into the solar plexus centre, the body’s mind. Imagine you can see the inside of this centre, and take a look before the rose radiates out light. Now, the white rose radiates out its white light, it can be brilliant or soft, into the solar plexus. The white light cleans and clears. The rose then radiates from each petal into the solar plexus, filling it with white light.

After a while, the glowing white rose drops into the sexual centre. You may find that the white rose produces multiple copies of itself. So that when the white roses radiate, and radiate a fragrance, instead of it being like one note, it is more like a symphony of healing light, healing the layers of the sexual centre. As old energy goes, new energy can come in, opening up new possibilities. The sexual centre now glows in a different way.

The white rose or white roses, descend down into the base centre. The white rose or white roses now radiate out a white light from each petal into each layer of the base centre. This gives it a clean and a polish, and at the same time gives it an upgrade energetically for these new times. The white rose fills the base centre with white light and Divine rose fragrance. The outer layer, or skin of the base centre is cleaned. Then after a while, the base centre is able to glow with white light from the rose. Again, a new energy in the base centre means new possibilities.

The white rose then rises back up through the centres and out through the top of the head, and then ascends up and away.

Take a moment to notice any changes throughout your body.

When you are ready, move your fingers and toes, and take some breaths. Then open your eyes.

This meditation is quite a profound one. It can be repeated, particularly when someone feeling a little lost. It can be quite clearing and help you feel more recharged and centred.

You may find when you repeat this meditation that the white rose also stops at the many other centres between the  main centres.
