The Value of Intuitive Thinking

Intuitive thinking is a natural ability that we have, it is part of us. It is as if a very smart part of us, or a higher power is offering us information. This information can be to do with our everyday lives. It can be to do on issues that we are dealing with and focusing on in our work. If a person is involved in business and focusing on a business deal, it can be information about that. If the person is a scientist or mathematician the information can be something that moves the research or work further on; it advances the work. A musician can find an idea or music or words coming into their head. An artist might have an image appear. A writer might be on the receiving end of a storyline or a character. The opportunities are endless. Intuitive thinking offers original, creative and timely information. The products of intuitive thinking can sometimes be literally world-changing.

Remember intuitive thinking is a natural process, but it is also one you can become better and better at, which enriches your life and work, and can feel very fulfilling.

Intuitive thinking is not helped by having continual stimulation of continual visuals or continual sounds or noises or voices from phones, videos or TV. These things mask and blot out intuitive thinking.

Intuitive thinking happens when you are not trying to achieve something. It happens when you let go, when you let go of your thoughts, feelings and worries of the mind. Basically it happens when you relax and are having a quiet moment, or at least several minutes worth of quiet moments. That means no phones is best. It is time for you rather than for other people to have priority over your time.

Some people find their mind switches off when they do gardening, or go for a walk in Nature, or knit, or relax in a hot tub, or go for a swim, take time to look at the stars, or simply breathe and lie there and relax.

When people relax their breathing can become easier and their heart rate decreases. Their brain wave state alters. The busy, stressed beta brainwaves decrease, and the slower alpha brain waves become more prevalent. Perhaps the relaxation can go deeper into slow theta brainwaves.

A simple way of achieving more alpha brainwaves is to breathe, and slow and deepen the breathing. A popular form of breathing at the moment is box breathing and this helps massively. I read about it in the early 1980’s and found it great. People these days go for 4 seconds in, hold for 4, breathe out for 4, and stay empty for 4, then again breathe for 4 and so on. In the 80’s we would start with 4 seconds for a minute or so, then go for 5 seconds, then 6, then 7 though that felt difficult. 4 seconds is likely just fine.

Or you can really explore the various forms of yoga breathing which have been tried and tested for a few thousand years. Breathing exercises show up in various old spiritual traditions and have been known about for ages.

If you are not keen on the breathing exercises, try out gardening and so on, so long as it is doing something that suits you, and gives you the relaxation and the mental space for your intuitive thinking to happen.

If you can, make sure to create space in your day for relaxation and your mind to have quiet and switch off.

You don’t need to meditate to achieve intuitive thinking, quiet time will be enough. If you do want to meditate, then this will have an effect of quieting your mind in a way that builds, which is beneficial.

You don’t need to deliberately practice ways of using your intuition on issues for intuitive thinking to happen, as it happens in times when you are mentally quiet. That is when you can notice the information coming to you.

Intuitive thinking can really enrich your life, and end up enriching the lives of others through your creativity.

Why Meditate?

Modern life is different to how it was. People used to experience worry, thought this didn’t stop them from getting on with their lives. Now people experience anxiety, which can sometimes bring life to a halt. I used to get people asking me for meditation to help them deal with stress, and recently I have been asked to help turn down and turn off anxiety using meditation.

There are factors these days affecting people’s mental wellbeing that played a smaller role before.

There are so-called “smart” phones, they can have some positive uses but they have had an awful effect on some people. As people used smart phones they have become susceptible to relying on them, on the internet and on social media, for their artificial and growing dopamine addiction. Then there are the emotional and mental effects of social media, through which others can cause upset and harm.

In life, people have always looked for answers. But the scrolling on phones will never feed the need for the really satisfying answers that people deep down want.

“Smart” phones will never give people what they want, emotionally and mentally. As one gets older you learn it isn’t that others like you that is really important, it’s that you like yourself, and are true to yourself, and not others.

Meditation can at least take you part way along your journey, and help you find your centre. Meditation helps you claim your power, and reclaim your sovereignty over yourself and your life making you freer.

Meditation weans people off the need to chase external stimulation to gain a dopamine hit, as plenty of dopamine (and serotonin) is created in the brain with meditation. Meditation is a way to connect with some wonderful and naturally available energy that has a good effect on the brain and nervous system, quite deeply as you will see later. The effect on the brain is passed on to the body through the body-mind link.

The internet and social media have the effect where we can end up judging ourselves against others and against unrealistic “values”. This can be very harmful and affect our emotions negatively.

Meditation can help us empower ourselves, taking away from others the power we might have given them. Meditation can help us build a good awareness of our own body and improve our self-image.

There is a lot of change happening in the world. Over-thinking about it can pull you away from your centre. Also, humanity is now more susceptible to the astral levels, and the lower levels can negatively influence, feelings, thoughts and moods. Decluttering this kind of energy and lifting yourself back up happens with meditation, then it is very useful to learn to button up your aura and chakras for protection.

Regular, ideally daily meditation helps to keep your system clear and tuned in to the higher energies that are beneficial to your spirit, mind and physical body.

Meditation is a wonderful way of looking after yourself, and helping you with your daily life. It helps you connect more and more with your true nature.

The effects of meditation on the body and brain

People in the East have meditated very a very long time, and meditation has long been an accepted part of life. In the West, years ago, there were few meditators, and meditation was seen as a slightly weird and fringe activity. There wasn’t any scientific interest in studying the effects of meditation.

Nowadays though, meditation in the West is seen as a good thing. Also, there are scientific studies of the effect of meditation on the body and brain. There are available some useful techniques for doing this. For instance, MRI scans of meditators brains provide very convincing reasons why a person should meditate.

Scientific studies have shown that meditators have less oxidative stress in their bodies. (Source: pubmed.ncbi.nih.gov/21280542/) This means that chemicals useful for the body (such as glutathione, a major antioxidant) are not used up dealing with the free radicals that cause oxidative stress. Instead, they are available for other functions in the body, such as the alleviation or prevention of conditions leading to disease. Simply put, meditation boosts the immune system and health.

In the brain, levels of dopamine, serotonin and GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) all increase with meditation (Source: standfordmag.org) The brainwave state is improved, with less beta waves which are associated with stress, and more alpha brainwaves instead. These are linked to better calm and focus, and creativity.

Meditation has been scientifically found to increase grey matter (brain cells) in several areas including the hippocampus (important for learning, memory and emotions). Grey matter is reduced in the amygdala which is to do with fear, stress and anxiety, which are reduced.

These changes are not all that surprising as it is known that the brain does physically alter depending on what we habitually do, and how we use our brain.

(Extremely helpful to think about diet and gut health, as chemicals from the gut reach the brain and have a profound effect. Also, a healthy gut produces 90% of our dopamine and serotonin! Important to sort out diet as well as meditate.)

I should say that in modern life, meditation is best considered as a very useful part of one’s life. A happy, healthy and balanced life, from an energy point of view. Also important is exercise, as it shifts old, stagnant energy from accumulated thoughts and feelings out of your body. Exercise is like a reset.

Being out in Nature also gives us a reset as old energy drops away and our energy is nourished and balanced by Nature. If you were into T’ai Chi and could appreciate the chi energy, you will know there is chi energy all around us, and particularly out in Nature rather than in artificial environments. That energy out in Nature has a good effect on us.

Also, check what you are thinking about yourself, others and life in general. Positive thoughts take you up, while negative thoughts take you down.

Aim to think positively about everything. (This doesn’t mean accepting situations that are not acceptable. Positive thinking can be a start to offering situations up, and so that light and love can be injected into them to bring about change.)

The most noticeable impact of meditation on chakras and the aura is to clean them up a bit, recharge and uplift them. The aura improves in shape and brightness, and the chakras lighten up and brighten up. Better energy and positive thinking will also influence the possibilities on your future timeline.

As previously mentioned, there is a lot going on in the world, and the astral levels have more access to humanity. At the same time, there is a huge amount of Light and Love flowing into the planet and the rest of creation. Meditation helps with accessing and absorbing this lovely energy, and at the same time, clears out the astral, and helps one to become less affected by changes in the world. Remember there are positive changes happening as well though; they don’t get reported on so much.

For some people, the intense Light and Love flowing in is difficult for them to handle, so they will use drugs in an attempt to numb out or try to escape the energy. Drugs just put holes in people’s auras, and introduces low level energy. The holes make it easy for what is in the astral levels to get inside people’s auras. Often this will stimulate the need for more drugs and the energy that goes with them. The astral energy promotes addiction. The situation is not good. Meditation over time greatly improves matters.

(Substance addiction in some people though can be a response to trauma at some point in life, so dealing with the underlying cause of the addiction is also very necessary as well as the repairing of the energy system. I have seen many cases of this successfully happening.)

There are different meditations on this blog. For best results try out the one for rooting yourself into the ground, as this prevents you from being floaty, and it means you can absorb more Light. It is good also to practise buttoning up your aura for after the main meditation as you can then look after the lovely energy you have gained, and protect your own energy. Happy meditating.

Intuition in a time of change

In comes the Light into Earth and everywhere else. Piece by piece, layer by layer, old evil and its twists are exposed. People and organisations that hold the evil and twists are brought to account, to face the Light, and they no longer have things their way any more. Of course evil and the black-hearted people and organisations in evil’s sway fight back, though there is plenty more Light to come in, to bring about huge change for the better. Love and freedom and Truth will win.

As the Light comes in, karma is sped up. This means things happen faster. The idea is for old karma, particularly of the negative kind, is gone through at pace, to bring about more of a balance of positive and negative karma. At the moment there is a lot of old energy to be balanced. This holds for individuals, for groups, for regions, for countries (countries have karma), for the planet.

There is a lot of clearing up to go on. Living in it, it seems like chaos and craziness. Life seems crazy. In our lifetimes, life is going to be different. In a few hundred years life is going to be very different after some of the old negativity is got rid of. In a thousand or so years, a lot of the old negativity will be gone. Because of this, living on the earth is going to be a lot more pleasant, much more in harmony with the planet, and much changed within humanity.

Right now though, so much change. A bit of a rollercoaster ride, a bit rough at times. Before you incarnated your Higher Self would have signed up to be down here at this time, so no point complaining. There is always intuition, because when people are in tune with their intuition they tend to end up in the right place at the right time, which makes life a bit easier.

How to live then to make the most of it, and find the positive, loving opportunities, which like seeds, are being energised by the Light?

Social media and smart phones (a bad choice of name if ever there was one) show us the way. For many people when they scroll on their phones and go on social media their energy drops, their auras darken and contract, negative cordings to other people kick in, thoughts and emotions drop in quality. Long time use can have a negative effect and block high-quality, loving input.

What to do instead is to decide that having positive thoughts and loving, positive feelings about oneself and others is the goal for long-term wellbeing. Having an aura and chakras that have a healthy glow about them is the goal. Having a healthy physical body that has enough exercise and time connecting with Nature is the goal.

All souls came from the Oversoul, which is essentially God. Our souls are essentially Divine, and Up there in the Divine, souls are basically connected to all the other souls, there being no separation. It would be fair to say that Up there, all souls feel a connection. It is part of our fundamental nature to connect with others. Modern life seems to get in the way of that, and there is loneliness. Connecting through the internet is only a partial solution. It is physically being with a bunch of other people that does the trick. Making the effort to join a positive group of people, or starting one, and there have been people who have started meetings and events up, is definitely an important thing to do. Talking to others is very important.

Having a sense of purpose is so important. Finding out what is important to you and what you enjoy doing. The sense of fulfilment that goes with doing something important to you is like fuel.

As mentioned earlier, being in tune with your intuition is most helpful. It is like being connected to God who knows what is really going on, who knows the bigger picture, and knows what is right for you and your soul development.

Meditation, or at least spending quiet times, helps intuition as it works well when there is relaxation and a space of quiet and calm within. Having clear energy in chakras and aura greatly helps as well. (There are meditations on this blog to help with that.)

An intuition is very useful for finding solutions to problems, being open to opportunities, and as said before, being in the right place at the right time.

Your Heart Centre and your Spiritual Path

People move along their spiritual paths at different speeds. We are all naturally in a form that supports us developing spiritually: souls within a physical body (within an astral body and a mental body). Our karma propels us through our own unique path.

At the same time as going through our karmic journey, lifetime after lifetime, we go through our spiritual journey on our unique spiritual path.

Sometimes people go backwards for a while on their spiritual path, by being selfish, or viscious and tyrannical, by being greedy, by being hateful, by lying to themselves and others, by buying into glamour. There are lots of traps to slow people down on their spiritual path. Another way of putting it is that there are lots of tests to see if the soul and personality is ready to move forward, or if they need a lifetime or a hundred or so to do some learning before moving forward again.

People can go sideways on their spiritual path, or tread water, say, if they get caught up in a habit or a teaching that helps them behave the same way, day after day, and year after year, content as they are to avoid change. There’s no looking in the mirror, no self-reflection, no breaking out away from old rules or beliefs, no moving on. Some teachings and groups are like that, and if people try to change they get banished or punished for trying to go beyond the accepted norms.

There’s another way people go sideways these days. Screens. Attention and focus goes outwards. Some of the time, or a lot. Attention can also go outwards looking at what others are doing. Too much attention can be given to television, streamed programs and some podcasts, and the news, or people’s opinions.

Spiritual progress happens when at least some attention is given to what is going on inside oneself. Paying attention to your feelings, noticing your thoughts, and being calm and quiet on the inside is what is needed. This can come about in such simple ways like sitting outside with a cup of tea or coffee, going for a walk in Nature, sitting in a hot tub, or experiencing the period of time after being in the gym, or doing yoga, or swimming, or other exercise. Physical activities are also great ways to shift and get rid of negative energies and associated negative timelines.

Meditation is for some, the way to gain the awareness of their inner spiritual realm.

When a soul senses the opportunity to come into what will form into a body at conception, it comes into the heart centre. Here’s a clue. If you really want to connect with the soul, and with the Source, meditate on the heart centre, at least for part of a meditation practice. Where the heart leads, the mind follows.

The heart centre is to do with love (definitely not ego), it is connected to the Infinite, and following your heart is a good idea.

Meditation focused on the heart is effective, and can help you consider how best to love your self in practical ways and appreciate yoursel. It can help you consider how to love others in your unique way, including in the all-important practical ways. The same goes for treating the planet properly. And if you want a good quality purpose in life, the heart centre is the place to find it. The heart centre is where you can find peace. The energy of the heart centre influencing the mind is a powerful combination. Heart centre energy can help open up intuition and be on your best timeline. It can help people know how to be safe in a changing, and sometimes challenging world. (The mind worries, the heart loves.)

Focusing on your heart will really move you along your spiritual path.

Intuition, Navigating Life and Prosperity

Life for many if not all people can seem chaotic, crazy, unpredictable and for many, stressful.

The old ways of doing life as we know it, are based on old values, such as greed, selfishness and fear. Sometimes anger and hatred come into it, as people have smashed into the ecosystem with a total lack of respect in order to gain short-term wealth. Think of over-fishing, the lumber trade in rainforests, the clearing of forests for beef production in South America, the continued production of plastics and the petro-chemical industry. The present financial system is based on greed and fear, and on the exploitation of individual customers. Politics and government have to change as well.

Basically, the qualities of greed, selfishness, hatred and anger, along with exploitation have to go. Anything built on these qualities has to go as well.

So in comes the Love and Light, speeding up the karma, bringing the old ways to the surface, and change is now in process, to break up that old energy.

At the same time, the Love and Light is sparking positive change, and seeding new ideas based on a more loving approach. There is positive stuff happening, though people and organisations who have done well under the old, dark regime tend to fight to stop it or undermine it, as they want to maintain their power, which is slipping through their fingers like sand.

God does actually have a plan or Plan to work things out in God’s way, rather than how people would expect it to work out. But then God has Infinite Mind, while people only have a personality mind, which is definitely not infinite.

So what is going on in life can seem to make no sense. But, there is a Plan, and God does give out clues, whispers and sometimes shouts. It is the people who can create moments of quiet, of inner silence and stillness, who can pick up the hints, using their intuition.

This is a really good time to be learning about intuition, because using intuition means you can safely navigate the seemingly stormy seas. It’s like the path, moment by moment, becomes clear, as long as you also have enough spiritual oomph to trust God and trust yourself.

What has this got to do with prosperity? Well if you are being quiet on the inside, and listening or viewing the steps, or feeling your way, and taking the necessary timely (very important, the timing) actions, then this can open up life so you become prosperous in new ways, based on Love, and the good of all, as well as yourself.

Rather than see craziness and uncertainty, see the Love and the opportunity, and Godspeed.

Using Intuition on Social Media, and News

We can use intuition in simple quick ways in everyday life. For most people that can include social media and news on the internet, so that in the words of an old Who song, “we don’t get fooled again”. The simple technique involves using your imagination to imagine a post or news as flowers. Just get a quick image, and go with that. In this way there is no over thinking. if you prefer cars to flowers, use cars, or whatever type of object you like. Sometimes I like to imagine things as sounds played by a band or orchestra. It’s fun, but there is serious intent behind it.

Of course if you want to analyse the data further and really dig into it, that is possible too.

So if you want to develop your third eye and intuition further, you can. You can find out about strengthening your chakra system and aura and get the chakras to work together powerfully. You can learn how to work with thoughtforms and how to psychometrise posts, news, people, situations and things. If you are in business, being able to choose between different opportunities, and different possible timelines for short, medium, and long term benefits is great.

There are articles and meditations on this blog you might be interested in looking at if you want to know more about intuition, third eye and clairvoyance, and more. It’s all basically about using your chakras, astral and mental body in the way they can be used, along with a guide or guides (make sure to have a good quality one as these are available).

Starlight meditation

This meditation is about starlight. In this meditation, the stars, like the ones in space, are going to be inside you, radiating out their energy.

The meditation uses multiple stars to provide the energy, each with a specific frequency, rather than one specific star. In this way you receive a wash of frequencies, rather like if you take a walk in the woods, you receive a wash of frequencies from all the trees rather than one (plus the ground and air and so on).

The Native American culture of a long time ago had a strong connection with all aspects of Nature and had an understanding of energy as spirit. Touching and assimilating energy means touching and assimilating different kinds of spirit. In this case the spirit of the stars.

The meditation may also have an ET feel to it, which is apt considering some of the people of Earth are starting to make beginning steps to get into space. (Though the understanding of space-time, materials and the maths to deal with these for fast space travel aren’t there yet. They are tucked away on the upper astral levels and mental levels, with glimpses and snippets falling down, landing in the minds of scientists and mathematicians.)

Read this first before trying:

Sit in a comfortable position,  and close your eyes.  Take a few deep, and gentle breaths.

Let white light from high above flow onto you and through you, like a gentle stream of silent, glowing bright white light. Let this gentle white light wash out anything locked in your nerves that flow out from your brain, and down your spine, and out from your spine.

Let the white light flow into your organs in your chest and in your abdomen, washing them out with the white light. Take a moment on this.

Let the white light flow into your bones and wash them out, starting with your skull and jaw, then going down your neck, your shoulders, arms and hands, washing them out. The white light flows down your spine, into your ribs, and down through your pelvis, washing them out. The white light flows on down through your hips, then your legs, and into your feet, washing them out.  The white light flows into and through your muscles washing them out.  Any unwanted energy is washed into the ground where it is absorbed and transmuted.

Now imagine yourself in a forest clearing as twilight turns to a moonless night. The air is still, the air is silent. As that infinite sky up above grows darker, you see a multitude of stars becoming visible in the blackness of space. This blackness above has a spirit, and each and every star has a spirit.

The black of space touches you with its calmness, which you can breathe in. The stars radiate their light and love like many songs and greetings. Feel it, hear it. As more and more stars appear the stronger the starlight and the touch becomes.

As you look inside yourself you sense the blackness of space, with its silent and still calm, inside you. Notice how that feels.

Then stars appear inside you, like a reflection of what you sensed above. Imagine seeing your body full of the blackness of space and many, many stars. Imagine the stars inside become more numerous, and touch you inside with their starlight and song. Take a few breaths to notice the starlight and song. The blackness of space, and the starlight, give you something new.

The stillness and calm soaks into your body. The starlight soaks into your body. The starlight soaks into your heart. The starlight soaks into your mind.

Notice the stars in your hands and feet. Notice the star in your arms, and in your legs. Notice the stars in your body and head. For a few breaths, feel how your body feels with the stars inside.

You look above to see the stars in the black of space.

Now white light from above touches you on the top of your head,  and the starry sky fades.

Now take a few breaths, and feel your feet and your toes, as your awareness comes back to your body.

Open your eyes.

Apart from hydrogen made in the early life of the Universe, the other atoms in your body have been made in stars, which have then exploded, and the atoms have been blown out into the space around. Some of these end up coalescing into planets, like this earth.

In a spiritual sense, stars are complex. They have a deva that is quite developed, and stars can host a being similar to the solar logos that is in our own sun. This is quite a role for a soul. Stars are spiritually important in our universe.
